Summary

Position Summary

Tax & Legal Technology team develops and maintains products built on varied technologies. ITS has various groups which provide the best of the breed solutions to the clients by following an agile system development methodology. This position is specifically for the Tax & Legal Digital Asset Factory team.

Work you'll do

As a Software Engineer II on the Tax and Legal Digital Asset Factory team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining .NET applications using C# and related technologies
  • Using AI-enabled development tools, including GitHub Copilot Cloud and Microsoft Foundry AI agents, to support code generation, optimization, and review
  • Evaluating AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and alignment with project standards
  • Building and supporting cloud-based solutions using Azure services, while troubleshooting issues and maintaining technical documentation
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions and contributing to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices

All team members are expected to proactively apply artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies in their daily work to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. This includes leveraging AI-powered solutions such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot4DevOps, and other relevant platforms to prepare and accelerate deliverables, rather than solely relying on manual creation followed by AI validation. A mindset of continuous AI adoption and innovation is essential to drive smarter workflows and faster outcomes. Additionally, team members will contribute actively to the AI enablement initiatives within the technology function, supporting the integration, optimization, and scaling of AI capabilities across projects and processes.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or another technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in .NET development using C#
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core, Angular 16+, and Web Application Programming Interfaces (Web APIs)
  • Experience with Azure services across computing, storage, and security
  • Experience using object-oriented programming principles and software testing methods
  • Experience with design patterns or architectural approaches such as Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) or domain-driven design
  • Fluent English language skills

Preferred:

  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Foundry AI agents
  • Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience creating technical documentation and participating in code reviews
