Role Description The FSD (Full Stack Development) Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. The faculty member will design and deliver engaging classroom sessions on full stack development topics, including front-end, back-end, databases, and related tools and frameworks. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, conducting lectures and practical labs, mentoring learners on projects, and assessing performance through assignments, tests, and presentations. The role also involves updating course content in line with industry trends, collaborating with academic and industry partners to keep the curriculum relevant, and providing guidance on career paths and portfolio development. The faculty is expected to participate in academic reviews, student feedback sessions, and institutional initiatives that support high-quality learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in full stack development (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript frameworks, back-end languages, RESTful APIs, databases, and version control systems).
- Candidates should possess teaching and facilitation skills, including curriculum design, lesson planning, classroom management, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in project mentoring and assessment, including guiding students through practical assignments, code reviews, and evaluation of technical and soft skills.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with industry practices, such as agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, coding standards, and collaboration tools.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse learner groups.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in higher education or professional programs, especially in full stack or software development, is highly beneficial.
