Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise teams within the software development function
- Responsible for one or more product areas for Verint s Enterprise product suite
- Develop and implement software development plans, processes, and procedures and ensures they are adhered to
- Lead in team activities - Requirements gathering & analysis, Design / Architecture / Implementation / Testing and the related reviews
- Collaborate with other departments to prioritize software development needs including design, development, and documenting and testing new and existing software
- May serve in a scrum master role as part of the agile software development process
- Ensure the team achieves the agreed timelines and milestones, reliability & performance, quality measures and meets the overall acceptance criteria of their responsible product areas
- Evaluate results with stakeholders to determine if organizational objectives are being met
- Analyze and resolve software development issues and needs in terms of the softwares full life cycle
- Perform root cause analysis
- Act as a point of contact and escalation for the team/function
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related degree
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of Team Lead experience
- Expert in React.JS
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript with standard of ES6
- In-depth knowledge of CSS, HTML, and any front-end languages
- Experience in performance optimization of web app
- Strong understanding of UI design patterns and best practices.
- Knowledge of HTTP/Rest-based protocols principals
- Strong proficiency with Jira/Confluence
- Hands on experience on design tools like Zeplin or Figma
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within software design and development
- Knowledge of performance, testing frameworks including Cucumber, Playwright, Selenium
- Strong troubleshooting & debugging capabilities in an agile software development team environment
- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and parallel projects
- Successful completion of Verint s background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification
Preferred Requirements:
- Advanced degree preferred
- Managed projects in React Framework with Redux.
- In-depth knowledge of UI development and with backend application Integration.
- Experience with private/public cloud platforms AWS, Azure or GCP
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks across team boundaries and/or geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent organization, time management, and project leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adheres to strict deliverable deadlines while able to multi-task
- Proficiency with SQL databases, such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL. Experience in DB schema design.
