Frontend Lead (React + TypeScript)

TCS is Hiring for -Frontend Lead (React + TypeScript)

Experience : 10 to 13 years

Location : Chennai and Hyderabad

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Strong expertise in React.js and TypeScript architecture design
• Hands-on experience with Firebase (Feature Flags, Firestore, Auth, Hosting)
• Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization and debugging
• Proven ability to handle production support issues and root cause analysis
• Experience leading a team of developers and reviewing code quality

Good-to-Have (Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

• - Experience with package upgrade and microfrontend architecture
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Familiarity with Node.js for integration and tooling
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1. Lead the frontend development team using React + TypeScript best practices

2 Design and implement scalable and reusable components

3 Oversee production support monitor issues, ensure quick resolutions, and prevent recurrences

4 Collaborate closely with backend, QA, and product teams for successful delivery

5 Drive adoption of modern frontend tools and performance optimization strategies
