Job Description

Job Title: Frontend Developer

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Delhi

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to build scalable, high-performance, and user-centric web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.js and Next.js, along with a deep understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and performance optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, high-quality code.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and microservices.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Ensure compliance with GIGW 3.0, WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, and security best practices.
Participate in requirement gathering, UI/UX discussions, and technical design reviews.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of UI components.
Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with backend, QA, DevOps, and design teams for end-to-end delivery.
Support UAT, bug fixing, enhancements, and production deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
Strong hands-on experience in frontend development using React.js (Next.js preferred).
Experience with Angular or similar frameworks is an added advantage.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Experience with component-based architecture and state management libraries.
Hands-on experience in integrating RESTful APIs and authentication mechanisms.
Strong knowledge of UI performance optimization and debugging tools.
Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG and GIGW.
Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
Exposure to UI testing frameworks and automation tools is desirable.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.
