Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build responsive, mobile-first e-commerce experiences that work seamlessly across all devices
- Implement custom functionality and features based on client requirements
- Optimize theme performance for fast loading times and improved user experience
- Integrate third-party apps and APIs with Shopify stores
- Troubleshoot and resolve theme-related issues and bugs
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional Shopify themes
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards
- Maintain and update existing Shopify stores with new features and improvements
- Stay current with Shopify platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends
Required Technical Skills
- 1+ years of experience in Frontend Web development
- Strong proficiency in Liquid templating language
- Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript
- Solid understanding of Shopify's theme architecture and file structure
- Experience with Shopify CLI
- Proficiency in responsive design and mobile-first development
- Understanding of version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques is a must.
- Familiarity with Shopify's API and App development (plus)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/SCSS) is a plus.
Interview Mode:-
- Interviews will be conducted in two stages: the first round will be held virtually, and candidates shortlisted from this round will be invited for an in-person second round.
Required Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (B.E./B.Tech/MCA)
- Must be from a regular full-time program (part-time and distance learning programs not accepted)
