Frontend Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a Frontend Developer responsible for designing and developing responsive, high-performance user interfaces for insurance-based applications. The role involves converting UI/UX designs into functional code, ensuring scalability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Strong hands-on experience in modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular or Vue.js;
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+ with solid understanding of core concepts;
• Hands-on experience in REST API integration and handling asynchronous data;
• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development approach;
• Ability to ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent UI behavior.

Desired Skill-set

• Prior experience working in the insurance or fintech domain will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress;
• Exposure to design systems, UI component libraries, and reusable component architecture;
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques and frontend best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable user-facing features for web applications;
• Convert UI/UX wireframes and designs into clean, efficient, and high-quality code;
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance;
• Ensure applications are fully responsive and work seamlessly across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders;
• Write reusable, testable, and maintainable code following best practices;
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement of frontend architecture.
