It is an early-stage company of about 18 people, led by experienced hospitality and tech leaders, incubated at Techne Ventures, and backed by private funding. The team is collaborative, transparent, and product-driven.

Position Overview

The company is looking for a Senior UI Developer to own the front-end implementation of its web-based products. You'll translate Figma designs into clean, scalable, and maintainable interfaces, working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers. This role is about strong execution, consistency, and building UI that handles real-time data and AI-driven outputs with clarity.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, component-based UIs for dashboards, admin panels, and guest-facing workflows
• Convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate, cross-browser compatible interfaces with high fidelity
• Develop and maintain a reusable component library aligned with the product design system
• Integrate REST APIs and handle async data, real-time updates, and dynamic system states in the UI
• Implement UI elements that surface AI-driven insights and system outputs in a clear, usable way
• Participate in code reviews, enforce front-end standards, and maintain long-term code quality
• Identify and fix UI bugs, performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser inconsistencies proactively

Must Have Criteria

• 2+ years of experience as a UI Developer or Frontend Engineer
• Strong proficiency in React.js for building production-grade web applications
• Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs with async data handling (Fetch/Axios, React Query, or similar)
• Hands-on experience converting Figma designs into responsive, accurate UI implementations
• Experience building SaaS products, internal dashboards, or data-heavy web applications
• Proven ability to build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time data rendering using WebSockets or server-sent events
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled products where UI surfaces model outputs or dynamic insights
• Familiarity with IoT, hospitality tech, or property management system integrations
• Experience working in early-stage startups or product-led teams with small, cross-functional squads
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and usability best practices
