About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) – Freelancer to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on modern frontend engineering, responsive web applications, and scalable user interface development.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to React, Next.js, component architecture, frontend optimization, APIs, and responsive design, helping improve how AI models generate and reason about production-quality frontend solutions.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the correctness, usability, scalability, and maintainability of AI-generated code. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for coding assistance, web application development, and frontend engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including UI components, frontend workflows, and optimization strategies
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated React and Next.js code responses across different software engineering scenarios
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world frontend development challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI-generated code for responsiveness, accessibility, maintainability, scalability, and performance
- Identify bugs, inefficient implementations, state management issues, or edge-case failures in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on frontend development and modern web technologies
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, responsive design, and component-based development
- Familiarity with APIs, state management, frontend optimization, and modern development workflows
- Experience with tools and technologies such as Redux, Tailwind CSS, REST APIs, Git, or similar frameworks is preferred
- Ability to critically evaluate code quality, UI consistency, and user experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
