(Android + iOS App Development | Location: Remote)
StapuBox is building a sports networking platform for players, coaches, and venues. Our mobile app is the core product, and we are looking for a React Native star who can ship features fast, learn quickly, and contribute to a production-scale app.
What You'll Own
- Develop and enhance features in our React Native mobile app.
- Build a smooth, responsive, and consistent UI across Android and iOS.
- Integrate REST APIs and collaborate closely with backend engineers.
- Translate designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready screens.
- Work with data models, local storage, and end-to-end UI flows.
- Debug, profile, and optimise application performance.
Your Primary Goal
- Contribute directly to the core mobile app of a sports networking platform.
- Ship real features used by athletes, coaches, academies, and venues.
- Own frontend modules end-to-end - from UI to API integration.
- Learn the complete product lifecycle: design build test deploy.
You Should Be
- Strong in React Native + TypeScript for mobile development.
- Hands-on with Expo and EAS build pipelines (Android & iOS).
- Comfortable with Redux Toolkit for predictable state management.
- Able to debug crashes, performance issues, and device-specific bugs.
- Understanding the differences between Android and iOS behaviour.
- A fast learner who can independently unblock challenges using available resources.
We would prefer that you have
- 1 to 2 years of total work experience
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows; worked with push notifications.
- Understanding of deep linking (universal and app links).
- Good grip on TypeScript fundamentals.
- Basic familiarity with native modules (Kotlin/Swift).
- Interest or experience in sports apps, social feeds, or interaction-heavy interfaces.
