Role Overview
WeAddo is looking for a skilled and passionate
Frontend Developer with strong expertise in
React.js and
Next.js. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and responsive user interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend teams to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
- Build and manage SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) capabilities using Next.js.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize application performance across devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI/UX issues promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development.
- Integrate APIs and manage application state using Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js, with a solid portfolio or project experience.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries (Styled Components, Emotion) or utility frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL integrations.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, caching).
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup).
- Exposure to headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity, Strapi).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation in Next.js (meta tags, dynamic routing).
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
