Primary Title: Front-End Developer
Location: Bangalore, Work from office
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS and jQuery-driven interfaces that work reliably across desktop and mobile browsers.
- Implement dynamic client-side features using JavaScript and jQueryAJAX calls, DOM manipulation, form validation, and UI state management.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility best practices; proactively test and fix rendering or interaction issues across major browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and handle data flows, error states, and loading experiences on the front end.
- Optimize front-end performanceminification, bundling, image assets, lazy loading, and reducing perceived latency for improved UX.
- Follow version control workflows, write clear code comments, and contribute to peer reviews and frontend build/QA processes.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of professional experience building web front ends with strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Proven experience creating responsive, mobile-first layouts using modern CSS (Flexbox/Grid) and frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Hands-on experience with AJAX and integrating REST APIs; ability to handle asynchronous flows and error handling in the UI.
- Solid debugging skills across Chrome/Firefox/Edge and familiarity with browser devtools and performance profiling.
- Proficient with Git-based workflows and comfortable participating in code reviews and CI pipelines.
Preferred
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS), frontend task runners or bundlers (Webpack/Gulp), and basic unit/front-end testing.
- Experience working in agile teams and exposure to UX/UI design handoffs; knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) is a plus.
