About The Role
We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our Bangalore office as a vital member of our development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing the user-facing components of Runable's general automation platform. Your work will directly influence how users interact with complex multi-agent workflows, AI orchestration, and real-time data streaming. Collaborating closely with backend and infrastructure teams, you will help craft fast, intuitive, and resilient interfaces that abstract system complexity, ensuring a seamless experience for our users. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI integration, cloud deployment, and innovative UI development, contributing to a product that is redefining automation technology.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over three years of experience in frontend development, with a strong proficiency in React and TypeScript. Experience with backend and infrastructure knowledge is a plus, as it will facilitate better collaboration across teams. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in building rich document views, including Excel, PDF, and Markdown, with editing capabilities. Familiarity with mobile app development using React Native and Expo is desirable. Hands-on experience with large language model (LLM) frameworks such as LangChain and OpenAI SDK, along with multi-agent systems, is essential. You should also be familiar with popular UI libraries like Tailwind and Shadcn, as well as state management and data fetching tools such as TanStack Query. A solid understanding of networking, load balancers, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or OpenTofu is required. The role demands a proactive, innovative mindset and a passion for exploring new technologies and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, performant web interfaces using React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and component libraries like Shadcn, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Build and support rich document viewers and editors for formats such as Excel, PDF, and Markdown, incorporating editing and collaborative features.
- Implement real-time AI orchestration features, supporting multi-step workflows, streaming responses, and multi-agent interactions using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and OpenAI SDK.
- Collaborate closely with backend and infrastructure teams to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, or Azure using Terraform and other DevOps tools.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment, testing, and rollback processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery.
- Contribute to experimental projects and innovation initiatives, dedicating 15-20% of your time to exploring cutting-edge LLM fine-tuning, memory architectures, and new agent frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative development environment.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development, AI integrations, and cloud infrastructure to continuously improve our platform.
