About The Role
We are expanding our engineering team and hiring multiple Front-End Developers to work on global product development and enterprise software projects. These are long-term, fully remote freelance roles ideal for developers who want to work on modern front-end stacks, complex UI challenges, and high-quality international products. As a Front-End Developer at SkillsCapital, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and scalable user interfaces that meet the diverse needs of our global clients. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on front-end development experience, demonstrating proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and web technologies. Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS are essential. Experience working with React.js, Angular, or Vue, with a preference for React, is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of component-driven architecture, hooks, state management, and routing. Familiarity with consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs is also necessary. The ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate effectively, and collaborate with distributed teams is crucial. Additionally, candidates should have a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, responsive, and scalable UI components using React, Angular, or Vue.
- Convert UI/UX wireframes into clean, maintainable front-end code, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation.
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet project specifications and user needs.
- Implement reusable component libraries, design systems, and adhere to UI guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
- Optimize application performance across various browsers, screen sizes, and devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Integrate front-end components with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to fetch and display data dynamically.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to establishing best practices, and maintain high coding standards within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues, performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser compatibility bugs to ensure robust applications.
