About The Role
We need a frontend developer who cares about the details — the 1px misalignment, the 300ms transition that feels sluggish, the button that works on desktop but breaks on Safari mobile. You will translate Figma designs into production React code on Next.js, working across multiple client MVPs simultaneously. Our products ship weekly, so you will see your code in production every Friday.
Responsibilities
- Implement responsive, pixel-perfect UIs from Figma designs using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Build interactive components with Framer Motion animations that feel native and performant
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all shipped features
- Optimise Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and maintain Lighthouse scores above 90
- Integrate frontend with backend APIs (REST/tRPC) and handle loading, error, and empty states properly
- Write clean, typed TypeScript — no any, no suppressions, no shortcuts
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions with senior engineers
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of professional experience building production React applications
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js (App Router preferred), and Tailwind CSS
- Understanding of web performance: image optimisation, code splitting, lazy loading
- Experience with CSS animations (Framer Motion, CSS keyframes, or GSAP)
- Familiarity with responsive design patterns and mobile-first development
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals: semantic HTML, meta tags, structured data
- Experience with Git — you will open PRs daily and review peers weekly
