Role: Frontend Engineer
We're looking for a passionate and skilled Frontend Engineer to join our growing tech team. This role involves building scalable and high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and shaping the future of customer engagement via WhatsApp.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable and performant frontend architecture to handle millions of messages per day.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Ensure UI/UX consistency, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and UI issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest frontend frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Work closely with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 3-6 years of overall software engineering experience with 2+ years in frontend development.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and frameworks like React.js (preferred).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
- Familiarity with database management (MongoDB).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Exposure to containerization & orchestration tools like Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-player mindset.
