Role Description

The Front Desk Guest Relations role is responsible for delivering a warm, professional, and personalized experience to all guests. This position serves as the first and last point of contact, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, handling guest inquiries, and resolving concerns to maintain high guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services

Greet guests courteously and professionally upon arrival and departure

Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently

Provide accurate information about services, facilities, and local attractions

Handle guest requests, complaints, and special needs promptly and empathetically

Front Desk Operations

Answer phone calls, emails, and messages in a professional manner

Maintain guest records and update system information accurately

Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments (if applicable)

Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments

Guest Relations

Build positive relationships with guests to ensure repeat visits

Anticipate guest needs and exceed service expectations

Manage VIP guests and special arrangements when required

Administrative Duties

Process payments, billing, and cash handling accurately

Prepare daily reports and maintain front desk documentation

Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality qualification preferred)

Proven experience in front desk, guest relations, or customer service

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities

Proficiency in MS Office and front desk management systems

Professional appearance and positive attitude
