To support SH Scale Up in controlling the main plant & Pilot Plant operations from Scale Up point of View. Suport in development of process data for new Product, check Process conditions , compare lab trials, plan and take trials to develop / improve processes for new products/existing Process at Pilot plant and commercial scale.
EPOXY DIVISION Company is in the business of Epoxy resin and specialty resin manufacturing. Company has started green field project in Vilayat for Epoxy resin, Reactive Diluents and has strategy to start new project e.g. ECH Plant for backward integration. Process engineering s role for new project is the responsibility of Process Development & Scale Up department. Job holder is responsible of scaling up of R&D product into commercial product of epoxy resin meeting all quality parameters. Improving production overall efficiencies with new and expansion units with latest technologies is critical for this unit. Major Challenges: Process Scale up and technological up-gradation is a challenge here in India to meet all quality parameters, improve process efficiencies with new and expansion units with latest technologies. To coordinate with process team and do scale up and meet product quality here in India as per need of Indian Customer & requirements is major challenge Developing new vendor for critical equipments based on our R&D input and sensitivity towards various grades will be a big challenge for us. Numbers of products are high in number thus handling safely & pertaining training accordingly is important. Information gathering, data interpretation & its analysis. Knowledge of unit operations and & preparation of technical documentation. Update knowledge of equipments and control systems through various resources. Maintaining speed and reduction in cost of developments and technology transfers to production. Safety and ease of operation is important. Prepare MOC-technology, coordinate for Hazop, and Implement hazop and update P&ID accordingly. Execute new scheme in the field.

To study present process condition, identify route cause of the problem and prepare action plan. 2. Prepare MOC (Management of Change) if required of the problem with change in P&ID for scale up activities. 3. Complete PHA (Process Hazop Analysis) study in coordination with cross functional team to address any hazards. |
| KRA3 | 1. Ensure Implementation of the scheme including PHA recommendations before scale up. 2. Prepare new SOP/PFD as per our process and stabilize pilot plant. 3. To do feasibility study of plant for new developed products. 4. To do close coordination with vendor site, third party toller for new development of products. 5. To commission new grade in plant & hand over to production after successful operation of such grades. 6. To impart training to operating people of plant for smooth commissioning and operating of new grades in pilot plants and main plants. |
