Job Description:

1- Production/Operations: Ensure smooth operation of all sections of Membrane Cell plant with proper DCS operation.

Ensure maintenance of all the process parameters of primary brine, secondary brine, cell house, shift workers.
Maintain critical parameters like differential pressure, Caustic concentration and temperature, brine temperature.
Acknowledgement and corrective actions on deviation alarms in coordination field engineer.
Ensure plant operation as per SOP.
Ensure plant start up and stoppage as per checklist. Prompt actions on deviations to avoid plant tripping.

2- Product Quality: Maintain quality of the product so as to meet customer requirements through DCS operation of Membrane Cell.

Maintain process and quality parameters strictly.
Maintain in process parameters to meet customers quality requirements.
Switchover quickly parameters during load variations to ensure product quality.

3- Cost Control: Control cost of production to achieve production within budgeted cost with proper DCS operation of Membrane Plant.

Stringent control on process parameters.
Timely control deviations from DCS for optimization of chemical consumption.
Ensure running equipments at optimal value.
Control any idle running of equipments.

4- Energy Conservation : Manage optimum Energy Consumption with proper DCS operation of membrane plant.

Control optimum consumption of cell power and auxiliary power.
Maintain setting of all VFDs at optimum level.
Monitor and control cells for optimum cell power consumption.

5- Customer Service: Follow directives and meet customer needs. Meet internal and external customer needs & take timely action on the same. Make final product dispatch as per customer requirement. Internal and External customer satisfaction. Identification of internal and external customer needs and timely fulfillment of their requirements. Final product dispatch as per customer requirement.

6- System Management (Safety, Sustainability): Adhere to safety & statutory environmental requirements. Handle emergency situations like Liquid Chlorine leakages etc. under Disaster Management activities. Train the team to comply with these norms. Maintain process systems having zero effluent and zero accident.

7- Safety Health & Environment: To review, monitor and control plant safety. To maintain all safety parameters strictly for protection of life and property. Strict compliance of safety appliance. Maintain equipment safety. Taking corrective actions on environmental parameters and regularly monitoring the results. To maintain process systems having zero effluent and zero accident. Strictly adhering to OHSAS & SA 8000 systems.
