Must-have skills and experience:
- Nuxt.js: Production experience building large Single-Page Applications (SPAs) with Nuxt.
- PWA + Capacitor: Knowledge of how to prepare web apps for app store packaging.
- Responsive design: Experience with a mobile-first approach and cross-device testing.
- RESTful APIs: Integration with secured .NET RESTful APIs, including consuming secured endpoints and handling tokens.
- Auth/SSO: Experience with token handling and session flows using tools like Supabase.
- Data visualization & UI state: Ability to implement charts, progress bars, leaderboards, and handle real-time updates.
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA): The ability to implement accessible components and test for compliance.
- Soft skills: The developer should be a good communicator, comfortable working in an Agile environment, able to give demos to stakeholders, and mentor others.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with the Terra API or prior wearable-related UIs.
- Familiarity with real-time websockets for live leaderboards.
- Experience converting PWAs to mobile using Capacitor and handling platform quirks.
- UX sensitivity for behavior-change apps (e.g., habit or streak UI patterns).
- Prior work on health, wellness, or corporate wellness apps.
