Key Responsibilities
- Creation & Architecture
- Build and maintain frontend applications using Next.js and React, ensuring component quality, reusability, and maintainability.
- Consume and integrate Django REST Framework APIs, handling auth flows (JWT/token), pagination, error boundaries, and data-fetching using SWR or React Query.
- Make informed rendering decisions using SSR, SSG, ISR, and App Router based on SEO needs and performance requirements.
- Implement scalable state management using React Context, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit based on application complexity.
- Optimize media delivery using AWS S3 + CloudFront with Next.js Image, lazy loading, and caching strategies.
- Ensure performance optimization for Core Web Vitals, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Collaboration & Operations
- Work closely with Django backend developers to review API contracts and ensure type-safe integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, ensuring the quality of both human and AI-generated code.
- Write unit, component, integration, and E2E tests for all features and ensure CI execution on every PR.
- Manage frontend deployments using AWS Amplify via GitHub Actions across preview, staging, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring fixes are backed by failing tests.

- Stay updated with the Next.js/React ecosystem, AWS Amplify features, and emerging AI/tooling trends.
