Job Summary
The Front Desk Officer is the first point of contact for visitors and clients. They provide administrative support, handle inquiries, and ensure a welcoming and professional environment at the organization's front office.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients in a professional manner
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Manage appointments, meetings, and bookings
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes when necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and deliveries
- Provide basic information about the organization's services or departments
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Coordinate with other departments when needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (a diploma/degree in business administration is a plus)
- Proven experience as a receptionist or front desk officer is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, office equipment)
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
