About the Role
Endo-MISS Spine & Pain Centre is seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Executive who will also function as a Financial Counsellor for patients. The role requires strong communication skills, patient-handling ability, and a clear understanding of hospital billing processes. The candidate will be responsible for managing the front office experience while guiding patients through treatment costs and financial planning for procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Operations
- Manage patient appointments, registrations, and walk-in coordination
- Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and appointment scheduling
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Coordinate patient flow between consultation, investigations, and procedures
- Provide a professional and welcoming experience for all patients
Financial Counselling
- Explain treatment packages, procedure costs, and payment options to patients
- Guide patients regarding insurance, TPA processes, and documentation
- Assist patients in financial planning for procedures and surgeries
- Coordinate with billing and hospital administration for cost estimates
- Ensure transparency and clarity in financial communication with patients
Administrative Duties
- Maintain daily OPD logs and billing records
- Coordinate with hospital staff for patient admissions and procedures
- Follow up with patients regarding scheduled treatments and payments
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare administration or commerce preferred)
- Prior experience in hospital front desk or patient counselling preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of hospital billing, insurance, and TPA processes
- Organized, patient-focused, and detail-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare or hospital administration
- Ability to explain financial aspects of medical treatment clearly to patients
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and patient management systems
