The Front Desk Executive serves as the first point of contact for the school, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and professional environment aligned with the ethos of an IB Continuum School.
Location - Podar International School (IB) - Worli, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist parents, students, visitors, and staff with courtesy and professionalism
- Manage front office operations including calls, emails, and visitor records
- Handle admissions enquiries and guide prospective parents effectively
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and school events logistics
- Maintain student records, documentation, and reception registers
- Support administrative tasks and communication between departments
- Ensure adherence to school protocols, safety, and confidentiality standards
- Manage courier, dispatch, and basic inventory at the front desk
Pre-requisites / Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in front office/reception, preferably in a school or service industry
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication (English mandatory)
- Presentable personality with a customer-centric approach
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Basic IT proficiency (MS Office, email handling, school ERP systems)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment
- Polite, patient, and solution-oriented attitude
Additional Preferences:
- Prior experience in IB / international school environment is an advantage
- Understanding of parent engagement and school operations
