Cloud DevOps Engineer – Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to streamline development and operations by building scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for faster deployments
  
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
  
• Manage containerized applications using Docker & Kubernetes
  
• Collaborate with development and QA teams for smooth releases
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues
  
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  
• Understanding of Linux/Unix systems
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
  
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
  
• Basic scripting skills (Shell / Python)
  
• Understanding of networking basics (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP)
  
• Knowledge of version control (Git)
  
  

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
  
• Knowledge of Terraform / Ansible (IaC tools)
  
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  
• Exposure to microservices architecture
  
• Hands-on project or internship experience
