Overview of Job
We are looking for a motivated Trainee AWS Engineer with 0-6 months of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in cloud computing. As a Trainee AWS Engineer, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship while working on real-world projects. You will learn to manage and optimize AWS services, support cloud infrastructure and contribute to the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Learning And Development
- Engage in on-the-job training to gain a deep understanding of AWS services, architecture and best practices.
- Participate in training sessions and certification programs to build AWS expertise.
Support And Maintenance
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining AWS infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Help with troubleshooting issues related to AWS services and applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
Deployment And Configuration
- Learn to deploy and configure AWS resources such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets and RDS databases.
- Support the automation of infrastructure tasks using AWS tools and services like CloudFormation, Lambda and IAM.
Security And Compliance
- Assist in implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Learn about identity and access management, data encryption and other security measures in AWS.
Documentation And Reporting
- Help create and maintain documentation for AWS infrastructure, configurations and procedures.
- Assist in generating reports on system performance, cost management and security audits.
Collaboration And Support
- Work closely with senior AWS engineers and other IT teams to understand business requirements and contribute to cloud solutions.
- Provide basic support to internal teams and users for AWS-related inquiries and issues.
Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0-6 months of experience with cloud computing, preferably with AWS.
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts and AWS services.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS and IAM is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of networking, Linux, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
