Role Description This is a full-time, on-site French Patient Counselor role based in Gurugram. The French Patient Counselor will communicate with French-speaking patients and their families to understand medical needs, explain treatment options in India, and guide them through the end-to-end care journey. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms; collecting and organizing medical reports; coordinating with partner hospitals and doctors; and preparing clear treatment itineraries and cost estimates. The role involves supporting patients with travel planning, documentation guidance, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups before and after treatment. The counselor will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely updates, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and deliver an empathetic, patient-centric experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in French (spoken and written) and good command of English for professional communication.
  • Patient service and counseling skills, including empathy, active listening, and the ability to explain medical information in simple terms.
  • Organizational and coordination abilities to manage multiple patient cases, appointments, and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Comfort with digital tools such as email, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms.
  • Understanding or interest in healthcare, medical tourism, or international patient services (prior experience in healthcare or hospitality is an advantage).
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; degrees in healthcare, hospitality, languages, or related fields are preferred.
