Role Description the Freight Forwarding Pricing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghatkopar. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining competitive freight pricing for export and import shipments, including ocean, air, and ground transportation. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing carrier rates, negotiating with shipping lines and transport providers, preparing quotations for customers, and ensuring accurate cost calculations and margins. The Pricing Manager collaborates closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to support bids, RFQs, and key account pricing requirements. The role also involves monitoring market trends, updating rate databases, and ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation, with a clear understanding of global logistics processes and cost structures.
• Practical experience in Forwarding and Export operations, including documentation, incoterms, and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, professionally, and accurately to pricing and service requests.
• Proficiency in rate analysis, negotiation with carriers and vendors, and preparation of detailed quotations and pricing proposals.
• Solid numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculation and margin management.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Experience with logistics or freight management systems and MS Excel; familiarity with TMS or ERP platforms is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; relevant industry certifications are a plus.
