Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Freight Forwarding & CHA - Documentation professional. The role involves preparing, verifying, and coordinating export and import documentation in line with regulatory requirements and client instructions. Responsibilities include liaising with customers, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs authorities to ensure smooth cargo movement and timely clearance. The position requires tracking shipments, updating internal systems, resolving documentation-related queries, and maintaining accurate records. The team member will also support customer service activities by providing status updates, addressing issues, and ensuring high levels of service quality.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation, with hands-on experience in international cargo movement.
• Candidates should possess skills in Forwarding and Export operations, including preparation of shipping documents and coordination with carriers.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and manage client expectations.
• Relevant experience in customs documentation (CHA), export/import procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with logistics software, shipment tracking tools, and MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics in Mumbai is required; experience with global trade lanes is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
