Team Lead – Freight Broker (US Process)
Shift Time: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM
Location: Mohali
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of freight brokers/dispatch coordinators
- Coordinate shipments with shippers and carriers across the U.S.
- Build and maintain a strong carrier network
- Negotiate freight rates and maximize profitability
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve operational issues
- Ensure high service quality and timely customer updates
- Train, mentor, and support team members to achieve targets
- Ensure compliance with U.S. transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate reports, documentation, and performance records
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in U.S. freight brokerage/logistics
- Prior team handling or leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of freight operations and U.S. regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
