We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to support high-quality, brand-aligned video production across product marketing, social media, campaigns, and thought leadership content.

Role Overview

As a Freelance Video Editor, you will own end-to-end editing of marketing and product videos, including trimming, sequencing, polishing, and packaging content for multiple platforms. You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to create visually strong, engaging videos that communicate complex enterprise concepts clearly and consistently. This role is ideal for someone who is fast, detail-oriented, highly creative, and comfortable working through multiple feedback iterations.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing and Production Execution

• Trim footage segments and assemble a clean, engaging sequence aligned to the brief
• Digitally splice footage, synchronize audio, and deliver polished final cuts
• Improve and correct lighting, color, and visual consistency across clips
• Add captions/subtitles, lower thirds, transitions, and basic sound enhancement as required

Motion Graphics and Product Visualizations

• Create motion graphics using typography, icons, and simple animations to enhance clarity
• Build workflow visualizations and product UI representations from screens, Figma, or recordings
• Use stock footage, b-roll, and visual assets to strengthen narrative and pacing

Quality Control, Brand Alignment, and Iterations

• Perform quality checks to ensure videos align with brand guidelines and platform specs
• Handle review cycles efficiently, implementing feedback with accuracy and speed
• Maintain organized project files, exports, and version tracking for smooth collaboration

Platform Optimization and Delivery

• Export videos in the right formats for LinkedIn, YouTube, website embeds, and ads
• Optimize pacing, hooks, and structure for social media best practices
• Support quick-turn edits for announcements, event videos, and campaign creatives

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years of experience in video editing for marketing, social media, or product content
• Strong portfolio showcasing short-form and long-form edits, ideally with B2B/tech work
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (preferred)
• Understanding of social media video best practices (captions, aspect ratios, hooks, pacing)
• Strong visual judgment and ability to communicate complex ideas through video
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and respond quickly in a remote setup
