Job Type: Project-Based / Part-Time Freelance
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (On-ground coverage at various galleries and exhibition centers)
Languages: Fluent English (Primary) & Conversational Telugu/Hindi
About the Role:
We are looking for a charismatic, visually expressive, and culturally savvy Freelance YouTube Reporter / Presenter to become the face of our channel's premium art and lifestyle segment. Your main responsibility will be attending high-end art exhibitions, gallery launches, and cultural festivals across Hyderabad to deliver engaging, aesthetic walkthroughs and interview artists/curators.
If you love art, design, and storytelling, and know how to hook a digital audience on camera, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
• On-Camera Hosting: Host engaging gallery walkthroughs, cover live event highlights, and conduct insightful, natural interviews with artists, curators, and attendees.
• On-Ground Research & Scripting: Quickly absorb the theme of the exhibition to ask intelligent questions and present the artwork contextually.
• Basic Content Coordination: Coordinate with gallery PR or organizers on-site to ensure smooth filming.
• Dynamic Delivery: Deliver content tailored for YouTube long-form videos as well as punchy hooks for YouTube Shorts/Reels.
What We Are Looking For:
• Strong Screen Presence: Excellent communication skills with a warm, confident, and sophisticated presentation style suitable for premium lifestyle venues.
• Aesthetic & Styling Sensibility: A sharp sense of personal presentation that aligns with premium art gallery environments.
• Cultural Awareness: An inherent interest in contemporary art, traditional crafts, photography, or design.
• Equipment (Preferred but Negotiable): Access to a basic mobile journalism (Mojo) kit—a high-end smartphone/DSLR with a stabilizer/gimbal and a reliable wireless lapel mic system (e.g., DJI/Rode) to capture clear audio in echoey gallery spaces.
Project Details & Budget:
• Frequency: 2 to 4 exhibition coverages per month (mostly weekends or Friday evening launches).
• Locations include: HITEX (Hitech City), State Gallery of Art (Madhapur), galleries in Banjara Hills/Jubilee Hills, and local heritage spots.
• Compensation: Per-project/per-video rate (Competitive; based on experience and whether you provide raw footage or a finished edit).
