Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented WordPress Developer to handle website maintenance, bug fixing, and small feature updates. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of existing WordPress websites rather than full-scale development.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting issues, making minor code edits, managing plugins, and ensuring website stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Fix front-end and back-end bugs in existing WordPress websites
- Troubleshoot theme and plugin conflicts
- Perform regular updates for WordPress core, themes, and plugins
- Ensure website security patches and backups are properly managed
- Make small UI/UX changes as required
- Optimise website speed and performance issues
- Monitor site uptime and resolve hosting-related issues
- Implement minor feature enhancements
- Test website functionality across devices and browsers
- Coordinate with designers and content teams for small updates
Required Skills
- 13 years of hands-on experience with WordPress
- Good understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins
- Understanding of website hosting and cPanel
- Experience with backup and security plugins
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
