Role Description This is a full-time, remote Freelance Video Editor role. The Video Editor will work with creative briefs and raw footage to assemble, refine, and finalize video projects for brands and creators, including ads, brand films, social content, and documentary pieces. Daily tasks include organizing assets, editing timelines, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and preparing export-ready deliverables in various formats. The role also involves collaborating with producers and clients to interpret feedback, enhance storytelling, and maintain consistent visual style across projects. The Video Editor will use industry-standard software and AI tools to improve workflow, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Well that's a lot of bullshit. But the core point is, its a job with great upside. If I like your work, you get to stick around as long as you want, I don't change my freelancers. The pay will be good and always on time. Its a per video flat rate with no pay for revisions. Also you'll be paid post the job is done. I need some guy I can rely on. Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, structuring narratives, and preparing final outputs.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to achieve consistent, cinematic, or brand-specific looks.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and use Graphics to support titles, lower thirds, and visual enhancements.
- Experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools.
- Comfort working with AI-based video tools to streamline editing, while maintaining creative control.
- Attention to detail, strong sense of pacing, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with international clients and creative teams.
- Previous experience in digital content, advertising, or documentary projects is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work is required.
