Role Description The Freelance Video Editor will work collaborating closely with creative, product, and marketing teams. In this role, you will edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, platform-ready content for ecommerce brands, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and performance insights. You will apply color grading, sound syncing, motion graphics, and basic visual effects to elevate product videos, tutorials, and promotional assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and managing media assets, adapting edits for different marketplaces and formats, and maintaining consistent quality and style across projects. You will also provide creative input on storyboarding, visual storytelling, and new content concepts while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for ecommerce and product-focused content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visually consistent, high-quality footage.
• Experience creating Motion Graphics and integrating Graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
• Hands-on expertise with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and adapt content for multiple digital platforms.
• Solid understanding of aspect ratios, compression, and export settings for web, mobile, and social media use.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is required.
