Role Description

The Freelance Video Editor role is a full-time remote position responsible for crafting high-quality video content that aligns with BIP's editorial and brand standards. On a day-to-day basis, the Video Editor will edit raw footage and images into polished stories with subtitles, apply color grading, and integrate motion graphics and visual elements that highlight architectural and design projects. The role includes collaborating with editors, writers, and creative teams to interpret briefs, structure narratives, and ensure consistency across different video formats and platforms. The Video Editor will manage file organisation, version control, and timely delivery of assets, while optimising videos for digital channels and maintaining technical quality. This position also involves suggesting creative concepts, refining visual styles, and contributing ideas to enhance audience engagement and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating compelling, professional video content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the look and feel of each project.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design and integrate titles, overlays, and visual elements that support storytelling.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production tools. Working knowledge of AI tools will be added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to tell clear visual stories, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment is beneficial.
• Experience editing content related to architecture, design, luxury real estate, or creative industries is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and a portfolio showcasing relevant video work are beneficial.
