Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Snowflake Data Engineer / Python Developer to help design, build, and optimize data pipelines and integrations across our systems. The ideal candidate has strong Python and SQL skills, deep familiarity with Snowflake, and experience working with cloud environments (preferably Azure). You'll play a key role in automating workflows, improving data quality, and enabling scalable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data automation, transformation, and system integration.
• Build, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines using Snowflake and SQL.
• Design efficient data architectures and solutions on Azure Cloud.
• Connect and integrate data across multiple platforms using REST APIs.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Ensure data reliability, performance, and security across systems.

Core Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on Python development (automation, scripting, data processing)
• Advanced SQL expertise with experience in ETL workloads
• Strong experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, query optimization)
• Cloud platform knowledge, preferably Azure
• Proficiency with REST APIs and system integrations
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Git-based workflows
• Understanding of modern data architecture and governance practices
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
