Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media optimization strategies to meet company goals, including increasing brand awareness, audience engagement, and website traffic.
- Manage and oversee social media accounts across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest.
- Create and curate engaging and shareable content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, that aligns with our brand and resonates with our target audience.
- Plan and schedule social media posts, ensuring consistency and alignment with content calendars and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and effectively.
- Use social media advertising platforms (e. g. , Facebook Ads Manager) to plan, launch, and optimize paid social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce visually appealing and compelling social media assets.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, conversion rates, and click-through rates (CTR).
- Provide regular social media performance reports, insights, and recommendations to the marketing team and senior management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, changes in social media algorithms, and emerging social media technologies to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Manage and maintain relationships with social media marketing vendors, influencers, and agencies.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in our social media efforts.
- Ensure compliance with social media best practices, advertising policies, and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public relations, and customer support, to align social media strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).
- Proven experience as an SMO Manager or similar role with a successful track record of managing and optimizing social media accounts and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and social media management tools.
- Proficiency in content creation, including writing, graphic design, and video production.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple social media platforms and campaigns.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay current with evolving social media trends and technologies.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms (e. g. , Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads) is a plus.
