Freelance SAP Cloud Integration & ABAP Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Cloud Integration & ABAP Engineer for a part-time remote opportunity. The role will focus on developing, enhancing, and maintaining SAP cloud integrations, SAP SuccessFactors and EC Payroll integrations, ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and data conversion solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP Cloud Integration and SAP Payroll integrations.
• Build and enhance SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and data conversions.
• Gather and analyze technical requirements for integrations and enhancements.
• Design interfaces based on APIs, integration architecture, and business processes.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Develop, test, debug, and optimize clean and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot integration and application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Support deployment, technical documentation, and ongoing improvements.
• Follow security, compliance, and development best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)
• Strong SAP ABAP programming experience
• Strong SAP SuccessFactors / Employee Central (EC) Payroll experience
• Experience developing SAP integrations and interfaces
• Good understanding of APIs and integration architecture
• Experience with reports, enhancements, and data conversions
• Knowledge of databases and cloud environments
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of Agile and CI/CD practices
