Our client, a leading global organization specializing in energy management and automation solutions, is looking to hire a Project Leader – Cost Optimization & Value Engineering to join their team.
Key Responsibilities;
- Lead cost optimization and value engineering projects for electro-mechanical and
electronic product categories.
- Develop should-cost models, perform benchmarking, and drive cost visibility initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-cultural
teams.
- Analyze product structures, materials, sub-assemblies, and manufacturing processes to
identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Provide technical assessments, design improvement ideas, and productivity
recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver strong presentations and reports to leadership and global
stakeholders.
- Drive localization, sustainability, packaging optimization, and digital cost initiatives as
required.
Qualifications & Experience;
- 6–10 years of experience in product, manufacturing, or electronics domains.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or
Electronics.
- Background in product-based or product & process-based industries (EMS/assembly).

Technical Skills:
- Should-cost estimation and benchmarking.
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical parts, plastics, metals, PCB manufacturing, and
electronics components.
- 3D modeling (for electro-mechanical).

- Understanding of electronics circuits, boards, and box-build assemblies.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
