Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in modern ABAP (RAP, CDS, OO ABAP) and a deep understanding of clean core and cloud-ready development.
This role goes beyond coding — we are looking for someone who can bridge business requirements with SAP technical execution and contribute to system harmonization and post-merger ERP consolidation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality SAP ABAP custom solutions
- Translate functional specifications into technical designs and solutions
- Collaborate with global SAP, functional, and integration teams
- Provide clarity on SAP standard logic to business stakeholders
- Support system harmonization, M&A consolidation, and standardization efforts
- Follow clean core principles and SAP cloud-ready development guidelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development best practices
Required Skills & Expertise
- 10+ years of strong experience in SAP ABAP Development
- Hands-on expertise in:
- RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
- Core Data Services (CDS Views)
- Object-Oriented ABAP
- ALV Reporting & SmartForms
- BADIs & User Exits
- SAP Business Workflow
- Strong understanding of:
- SAP standard tables and data models (at least one module like SD / FI)
- SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
- SAP Archiving
Preferred Experience
- Experience in SAP system consolidation / M&A environments
- Exposure to Clean Core strategy & SAP BTP extensibility
- Experience with API-based integrations & system interfaces
- Functional exposure to SAP modules (SD, Finance, etc.)
- Knowledge of Revenue Recognition / Convergent Invoicing
