Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Oracle EPM Professional for an exciting freelance contract opportunity with our corporate client. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ASO cube development, EPM automation, Groovy scripting, and enterprise data integration across SAP, Snowflake, and Oracle EPM platforms.
This role involves working on a high-volume reporting application with strict SLA timelines and end-to-end ownership of data flow, automation, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ASO-based Oracle EPM reporting applications handling large-scale datasets (25–50GB)
- Build and manage data integration pipelines from SAP → Snowflake → Oracle EPM
- Develop and optimize data extraction and transformation processes using SQL and Snowflake
- Create and maintain Groovy scripts for calculations, validations, automation, and data exports
- Implement currency translation and financial adjustment logic within EPM applications
- Automate batch processes using EPM Automate, shell scripting, and parallel execution techniques
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues across EPM, Snowflake, and SAP environments
- Optimize application performance to support strict SLA timelines, including 4-hour financial close windows
- Collaborate with finance, reporting, and technical teams for seamless application support and enhancements
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Oracle EPM – PBCS / EPBCS / FCCS
- Hands-on expertise with ASO cubes (mandatory)
- Strong Groovy scripting experience
- Experience with EPM Automate and Data Management / FDMEE
- Strong SQL and Snowflake knowledge for data extraction and troubleshooting
- Experience with batch scripting and automation
- Good understanding of enterprise financial reporting workflows
- Strong analytical, debugging, and performance tuning skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating SAP with Oracle EPM environments
- Exposure to high-volume financial reporting applications
- Experience working in fast-paced support or close-cycle environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
