We are looking for a skilled Freelance Motion Graphic Designer to work on a range of visual content including government communication films, brand videos, corporate AVs, and documentaries. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of animation, typography, visual composition, and experience in creating impactful motion graphics that enhance storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and animate motion graphics for intros, explainer segments, lower thirds, infographics, and end screens
- Collaborate with directors, editors, and content teams to develop visual treatments and animations that align with the film's tone and message
- Understand the brief and deliver high-quality motion design within deadlines
- Adapt visual styles based on project—ranging from clean corporate to cinematic storytelling
- Make revisions based on internal/client feedback
Requirements:
- 2 years of proven experience in motion graphics
- Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop (Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus)
- Strong portfolio showcasing animated work across documentaries, brand films, or explainer content
- Ability to handle tight turnarounds with attention to detail
- Based in Mumbai (available for in-person meetings or hybrid collaboration when required)
Preferred:
- Experience working on government communication projects or public service content
- Understanding of multilingual and culturally diverse visual design
- Familiarity with government branding guidelines is a plus
