Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Automation Engineer with strong expertise in IBM System Automation for z/OS, NetView, and GDPS-CA.

The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of z/OS environments, strong REXX programming skills, and hands-on experience in mainframe automation and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Mainframe Automation & Support

• Configure, maintain, and support IBM System Automation for z/OS
• Work with NetView and GDPS-CA technologies
• Automate operational processes and improve system efficiency

Programming & Development

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using REXX and PIPES
• Build automation solutions to resolve operational issues
• Enhance existing automation frameworks

System Operations

• Work with z/OS, JCL, TSO, ISPF environments
• Utilize IBM utilities like IEBCOPY, IEBGENER
• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with clients, developers, and support teams
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to automation initiatives
• Handle multiple deliverables and priorities

Documentation & Support

• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in on-call support rotation
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
