Role Description

This is a freelance remote role for an experienced Journalist/Researcher/Writer. The Journalist/Researcher/Writer will be responsible for news writing, research and general writing assignments relating to India and Southern Asia region, which may or not be with the assistance of artificial Intelligence to boost productivity and content volume. Human expertise and skill is paramount.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and research skills
• Interviewing and research skills
• Demonstrated ability to write in News Writing, and general Writing assignments
• Experience in Broadcasting
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Experience in Digital/Technology industry is a plus
• Search engine optimisation of text
• Ability to use AI as a co-pilot

The purpose of the role is research data, statistics and news and interview relevant industry professionals, leaders and experts, for our industry insights initiatives (Bite sized data and quotes for our broadcast media, and articles for newsletters and other).

Fluent English essential as well as South Asian languages
