Freelance Interior Designer

JUXTUDIO LLP is looking for passionate, creative, and client-focused Design Partners to collaborate on residential and commercial interior projects across Delhi NCR and other regions. This is a freelance, project-based opportunity for experienced Interior Designers and Architects who can independently manage clients, design development, and project coordination while maintaining JUXTUDIO's design standards.

As a Design Partner, you will represent JUXTUDIO throughout the client's journey—from initial consultation and concept development to design finalization and execution coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Business Development

Connect with qualified leads provided by JUXTUDIO.

Conduct client meetings and understand project requirements, lifestyle, budget, and design expectations.

Present JUXTUDIO's design methodology, portfolio, services, and execution process.

Prepare concept presentations, mood boards, and preliminary design proposals.

Guide clients through material selections and design decisions.

Convert prospects into active projects and maintain strong client relationships.

Act as the primary design consultant throughout the project lifecycle.

Design Development

Develop space planning and furniture layouts.

Prepare design concepts and material specifications.

Coordinate with the JUXTUDIO design team for:

2D Working Drawings

Furniture Layouts

False Ceiling Drawings

Electrical Layouts

Plumbing Layouts

Elevations & Detailed Drawings

3D Visualizations & Renderings

Review drawings and ensure design intent is maintained.

BOQ & Commercial Coordination

Prepare project scope and specifications.

Coordinate with internal estimation teams for BOQ preparation.

Review quantities, specifications, and commercial proposals.

Validate materials, finishes, and project budgets.

Assist clients in finalizing project scope and execution packages.

Project Coordination & Execution Support

Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and site teams.

Conduct periodic site visits during execution stages.

Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved designs.

Resolve design-related queries during execution.

Support installation and project handover processes.

Ensure high-quality design implementation on site.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or Design & Build Projects.

Experience handling residential interior projects preferred.

Freelance designers and independent consultants are encouraged to apply.

Skills Required

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong client management abilities.

Good understanding of materials, furniture, and execution processes.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar design software.

BOQ preparation and project estimation understanding.

Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Compensation

Freelance Project-Based Model

Compensation shall be based on project size, scope, and involvement level.

Indicative Earnings:

Small Projects: 10,000 – 15,000 per project

Medium Projects: 15,000 – 25,000 per project

Large Residential Projects: 25,000 – 45,000+ per project

Performance incentives and referral commissions may be offered for successful project conversions.
