Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation, is looking for Assistant Manager - HR, to support the HRBP in implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives. The role ensures smooth HR operations at the manufacturing site by supporting employee engagement, industrial relations, performance management, compliance, talent development, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Life Cycle - Extend Support to HRBP in the following areas:
- Coordinate payroll inputs as required
- Monitor and control absenteeism
- Creche administration
2. Employee Engagement
- Drive employee welfare initiatives, engagement activities, R&R programs, and communication forums.
- Conduct periodic employee connect sessions and track action items (GETs Review, Talents Projects Reviews)
- Support surveys (EES, pulse surveys) and help implement improvement plans and analyse the results.
3. Industrial Relations (IR) Support (as applicable)
- Support HRBP in maintaining harmonious relations with workmen
- Attend shopfloor rounds, collect grievances, and assist in timely resolution.
4. Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Coordinate bluecollar hiring as per manpower plans (based on need) including all categories.
- Liaise with recruitment partners, ITIs, training institutes, and campus sources.
5. Performance Management
- Assist in goalsetting, midyear reviews, and annual appraisal processes.
6. Training & Development
- Support identification of training needs for workmen.
- Coordinate technical, behavioural, and statutory training programs.
- Maintain training MIS, attendance, feedback, and learning hours.
- Ensure Global Learning KPIs are met as per targets
7. Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure statutory HR compliance under labour laws (Factories Act, CLRA, ESI, PF, etc.).
- Maintain documents for audits—internal, ISO, statutory.
- Monitor contractor compliance and coordinate with contractor compliance partners.
8. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare & Publish Org Structures, headcount reports, training reports etc on monthly basis.
In addition, support to HRBP in day-to-day activities.

Skills Required
- Experience working in manufacturing industries /Strong understanding of HR operations and manufacturing HR.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills.
- Exposure working as HR generalist for both blue collared and white collared.
- Analytical thinking and proficiency in Excel / Powerpoint / MS office suite
- Knowledge and experience in statutory compliance
- Agile, proactive, and people oriented mindset.
