Flexing It has partnered with Our client, is a global FMCG firm and is looking to engage with an Independent HR Assistant with experience in end-to-end payroll operations, preferably with exposure to NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) and/or NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme). The role involves stipend processing, payroll administration, DBT coordination, query management, and close collaboration with HR and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer monthly stipend processing for apprentices.
- Generate payroll/pay registers based on attendance inputs.
- Upload and freeze pay registers on the NAPS portal.
- Coordinate stipend fund transfers to the NAPS VAN account.
- Release stipend payments through the apprenticeship portal.
- Track and follow up on Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) status with relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with NAPS guidelines and timelines.
- Calculate establishment and DBT share accurately.
- Process and file Records of Payment (ROP) on the NATS portal.
- Coordinate stipend disbursement and UTR tracking.
- Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams for payroll inputs and reconciliations.
- Maintain payroll records, reports, and documentation.
Skills Required
- 1-3 years of experience in Payroll Operations.
- Experience in NAPS and/or NATS payroll administration (preferred)
- Knowledge of Payroll Compliance and Statutory Processes
- Experience working with payroll portals and payroll management systems.
