Role Description

This is a remote freelance role for a Fashion Designer to contribute to Weave of Culture's unique collections. Responsibilities include designing fashion pieces, integrating traditional and modern textiles, overseeing embroidery work, and ensuring high-quality garment fittings. The designer will collaborate with the creative team to bring innovative and culturally inspired concepts to life.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Fashion Design and a flair for creativity
• Skills in Embroidery techniques and integrating cultural details
• Knowledge of Textiles and fabric selection
• Proficient in garment Fitting and ensuring optimal craft precision
• Passion for fusing tradition with contemporary design
• Ability to work independently with a remote team
• Formal training in Fashion Design or a related field is an advantage
• Experience in cultural design or sustainable fashion is a plus
