Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a boutique consulting firm, is looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in Pricing Analytics and Value-Based Pricing to develop pricing models, demand forecasting frameworks, and revenue optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilties:
- Build and validate price elasticity models (SKU / segment level)
- Develop value-based pricing frameworks (willingness-to-pay, feature impact)
- Run regression analyses linking price changes to demand/revenue outcomes
- Generate pricing recommendations / simulations (what-if scenarios, optimal price bands)
- Create clean datasets + dashboards / outputs for business teams (repeatable pipelines)
Skills Required
- Strong Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels)
- Solid understanding of regression techniques (linear, log-log, multivariate, regularization)
- Experience with pricing analytics (elasticity, demand curves, price-volume trade-offs)
- Data handling: data cleaning, feature engineering, EDA
- Ability to translate models into business insights (not just modeling)
